COACHING PHILOSOPHY: I value the responsibility, importance, and privilege that comes with being part of a team - putting others above yourself and teaching athletes to lead by example as well as word of mouth. I believe in preparing student athletes for volleyball at the next level, technically & mentally, as well as helping them learn how to be positive influences in society based on their experiences and lessons they learn through athletics. Last, I want my athletes to understand the importance of respect – of themselves, of their teammates, of their coach, and of the game itself.

- BEST MOMENT IN VOLLEYBALL: It’s a three way tie: first falling in love with the sport when I was a young kid while watching my parents play; coaching with my best friend at Pierce for three years; and getting the assistant coaching job at Evergreen – it’s the best opportunity I have been provided with so far in my volleyball career.
