WHY I LOVE SSVBC:

I love SSVBC because of the family feel. The coaches aren’t only concerned with winning, but developing everyone as a player and a person. Everyone want you to get better and with that thinking it’s a lot easier to play at a higher level and become more confident.

BEST MOMENT IN VOLLEYBALL:

My favorite moment in volleyball was my first year ever playing in 6th grade on varsity for Jason Lee Middle School. I had shanked a few serve receives in a row and I got frustrated and teary eyed. My coach subbed me out, pulled me over and told me that I needed to pull it together because she needed me on the court.  From there on I understood that when I or anyone else is negative or too hard on themselves it affects the whole team, not just you.  This is my favorite because it is one of the most significant moments I can remember.
