WHY I LOVE SSVBC: |
I love SSVBC because of the supportive environment. The coaches here know you by name and aren’t afraid to help you out, even if they’re not your “main” coach. The teams are familiar with each other, regardless of age or skill level. When I first came to South Sound, I immediately noticed how welcoming they were to new club players, and of all the opportunities they gave to me and my team. Another main reason why I love SSVBC is because they honor character and technique, not just how “good” you are at volleyball (though those lead to that in time!). |
BEST MOMENT IN VOLLEYBALL: |
My best moment in volleyball was when I finally got my overhand serve down just this last year. My confidence rose once I did, which has improved my game in general, and now I am a stronger player than I was before. |
