COACHING PHILOSOPHY:

I believe that success is measured in the development of the individual players and team throughout the course of a season and it is not based solely off of the scoreboard.

I believe in positive and supportive coaching attitudes. I strive to give players action-based feedback that they can immediately apply on the court.

I believe in helping my players to support one another on and off the court because while competition encourages growth I also believe in the importance of having the support of teammates and coaches while learning and developing new skills.

  • BEST MOMENT IN VOLLEYBALL:  My Jr year of college at Whitman, we were a tiny (only 9 people!) and unranked team. UPS was ranked 17th in the Nation when we came up to play them at Stadium High School. In an unreal match, we beat them in five sets and completely knocked them out of the national rankings.
