  • COACHING PHILOSOPHY:  I believe in the love of the game and want to pass that knowledge on to athletes.  I enjoy teaching players to play, and play better to help them develop to compete at the top level.  I love the thrill and excitement of the sport and want athletes to experience that for themselves. Teaching athletes how to play within a team concept, to make good decisions, to not be afraid to fail, to teach character values and for them to be successful players and people on and off the court, is the most important value of a coach.

  • BEST MOMENT IN VOLLEYBALL:    Playing at Seaside, OR women’s open, in 1997.  We had to beat a nationally ranked team in order to make it in to the women’s final and had lost previously to the same team.  We fought very hard and won and made it to the final.  The crowd during the final game was loud and cheering our names and rooting for us to win the whole time.  It was exhilarating.
