U13’s Assistant Coach
COACHING PHILOSOPHY: I believe in a fun and healthy learning environment where children are able to feel comfortable with making mistakes. Making mistakes help to understand how and why something does not work the way you want it to. Where later on, you not only acquire the ability to realize what you have done wrong but are able to fix the problem and feel accomplished. I want to create an environment for my athletes to play to their full potential while having fun and enjoying the game of volleyball. I value the spirit, liveliness, and positive energy as well as the encouragement that players bring on and off the court in their own individual ways. I believe and stand by the saying “you can achieve anything you put your mind to” and will I do whatever it takes to help set my players up for greatness.
FAVORITE QUOTE: “I truly believe in positive synergy, that your positive mindset gives you a more hopeful outlook, and belief that you can do something great means you will do something great.” - Russell Wilson

BEST MOMENT IN VOLLEYBALL: Although I have had several, my best moments in volleyball would have to be during my 12’s and 13’s years with having G (or Jeff) as my coach. We had so much fun and the atmosphere was so positive. We were a very skilled team and finished #1 in the Puget Sound Region for our age group. But through those memorable experiences I made friendships, learned the importance that encouragement, positive energy and sportsmanship are needed to create a fun and healthy learning environment. To which, I hope to accomplish for my players.
