South Sound Volleyball Club

The pressure was on as the SSVBC U 18’s  came into the PNQ Qualifier seeded 4th in the American Division.  Everyone was excited and came ready to play Friday as the girls won all the matches beating Reach 18’s and Montana Volleyball Academy.  Taking first in their pool meant Saturday would hold tough competition, but the girls again came out with fire beating Performance 18’s and Gold Cal.  Dropping a close match to CWE 22-25 and 17-25 the girls took 2nd still moving on to the top 6 on Sunday.  Sunday was the day to prove themselves and they did just that beating Midvalley 25-22 and 26-24 and advancing to the semi finals.  The SSVBC girls played their hearts out playing some of the best volleyball the coaches had seen. With amazing setting and defense in the back row the team chipped away at the hardest team they would face all weekend.  After playing their best the girls lost with close scores of 20-25 and 24-26.  The day had yet to end as the girls had one last match against Sunset in which they won to take an overall 3rd place in the tournament.  Great Job SSVBC 18’s!
