The first competitive boys tournament for the Puget Sound Region, kicked off with great success! Our boys teams split up in to two groups and played against Power Surge 18’s and Anacortes 16’s. SSVBC boys team had a great time at the tournament and also got to experience a full day of volleyball. Several stellar Men’s teams were playing and our boys were excited to watch Coach Russ Ripple and 18’s Coach Rey Javier in action. “It was great to be a part of history this weekend and to watch our boys be competitive in our first tournament” states SSVBC’s co-director Angela Spoja. The boys series was named “Year of the Dragon” and each participant received a t-shirt for competing. The next tournament will be held at Curtis high school and Impact Sports on March 17th.
